Death over dinner
This could be the strangest dinner invitation you may have ever received, but read on - we are in for a memorable experience.
"Having never attended a Death Dinner, I had no idea what to expect. I left the event feeling a deeper connection to the wonderful people I shared a meal with and a little more ease around the conversation of death. It's something we all have experienced in some capacity and definitely worth normalizing the topic." - Katie Bell, MIPA Member
Let's Have Dinner and Talk About Death has been rapidly inspiring communities to talk about an often-not-discussed topic: "How we want to die represents the most important and costly conversation America isn’t having." I would be thrilled if you join me, and other MIPA Members, for dinner (+ drinks!) and take part in this very special evening. This isn't meant to be a morbid conversation, but a very human one. Let's talk about it - so we can lean into any fears we might have, get rid of inhibitions, and build deeper connections. Did I mention there will be food and drinks?!
- Date: Monday, February 27th at 7:30pm
- Location: MIPA Member, Ashley Mouldon's home
- RSVP is limited to 10 people (minimum is 5); email ashleymouldon@yahoo.com
(if you want to bring a +1, let me know)
"I was unsure about attending a Death Dinner thinking that the topic might be too morbid but it ended up being a joyful evening which really put the meaning of life and human connection into perspective for me. I left with a totally changed outlook and have thought about it deeply for months since the dinner. I highly recommend it!"- Jessica Livingston, MIPA Member
